Senior Sales Engineer (Mt. View, California)

Job Description
The senior Sales Engineer works closely with prospects to understand their technical and business requirements and current computing environment. Assist customers in selection of the correct DreamFactory products for their respective application. Quickly configure products to demonstrate our flexibility in applying our product to meet customers business requirements. Ensure solutions meet our high customer satisfaction standards in order to ensure customer renewal

Responsibilities:

• Develop deep technical understanding of DreamFactory on-demand applications such as DreamTeam, as well as underlying development environment
• Conduct face to face and in person meetings to demonstrate examples of DreamFactory products meeting customer requirements
• Work closely with sales reps to ensure customers acquire the right solutions for their business
• Lead the development of technical account strategies for long term growth and success in large customers
• Use Salesforce.com as a platform for managing your activities, demonstrations with all prospects and customers
• Work with Product Marketing to leverage customer and product feedback into enhanced products that better meet the needs of our best customers
• Manage technical aspects of complex large sales that involve integrations between Salesforce.com and customization or integration of multiple DreamFactory products
• Develop and optimize role-based demonstration scenarios for our products to meet common use cases we see within typical Salesforce.com customers
• Develop relationships with Salesforce.com technical resources who can help identify new and expanded technical white-space and opportunity for DreamFactory and our products

Ideal candidates will have an understanding of the on-demand business solution space, and specifically familiarity with Salesforce.com. They will understand web applications, web application development, and the impact rich Internet applications have on usability. They will demonstrate an ability to listen to customer functional and technical needs without prejudice. They will have a strong desire to win, and to continually develop their personal and professional skills. Strong technical skills are required. Development experience is helpful if not mandatory. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are a necessity. Have the ability to manage stress well, and juggle multiple balls at once. BS/BA degree required
