Administrative Reference
To enhance product capabilities and provide a seamless user experience, DoX is tightly integrated with Salesforce. It is important to understand the underlying custom components that allow DoX to function.

Salesforce Extensions
DoX integration with Salesforce is made possible through a set of Salesforce extensions – Custom Apps, Objects and Tabs. It is critical that these extensions remain in place. Deletion of any of these extensions may result in errors.

Custom Apps
DoX is a Custom App within Salesforce. DoX is displayed in the dropdown list in the top right corner of the page when you are logged into Salesforce.

Custom Objects
DoX creates one Custom Object called DoX Docmap for storing your DoX document map.

Custom Tabs
DoX also adds two (2) Custom Tabs. The first tab, About DoX, is just a website link with HTML reference information. The second tab, DoX, is an embedded DreamFactory project that is the DoX application.
