Administrative Reference
To enhance product capabilities and provide a seamless user experience, DreamTeam Time & Expense is tightly integrated with Salesforce. It is important to understand the underlying custom components that allow DreamTeam Time & Expense to function.
Salesforce Extensions
DreamTeam Time & Expense integration with Salesforce is made possible through a set of Salesforce extensions – Custom Apps, Objects and Tabs. It is critical that these extensions remain in place. Deletion of any of these extensions may result in errors.
Custom Apps
DreamTeam Time & Expense is a Custom App within Salesforce. DreamTeam Time & Expense is displayed in the dropdown list in the top right corner of the page when you are logged into Salesforce.
Custom Objects
DreamTeam Time & Expense creates the following two (2) Custom Objects:
• DreamTeam Expense – This is an expense entry.
• DreamTeam Time – This is a timesheet entry.
Custom Tabs
DreamTeam Time & Expense also adds two (2) Custom Tabs. The first tab, About DreamTeam Time & Expense, is just a website link with HTML reference information. The second tab, Timesheet Editor, is an embedded DreamFactory project used to for logging timesheets and expenses.
You can extend DreamTeam Time & Expense custom objects – adding your own custom fields, for instance – provided you do not modify the set of custom fields required by DreamTeam. To check that your DreamTeam Time & Expense instance is complete and has not been corrupted, you can use the DreamTeam Time & Expense Customization Checker. This tool will verify that all of the DreamTeam custom objects and custom fields exist.
