Timesheet Editor
The DreamTeam Timesheet Editor tab contains an intuitive, easy to use timesheet and expense grid that enables employees to quickly enter time and expenses without having to master a complex tool. The Timesheet Editor tab is divided into two separate sub-tabs, one for timesheets and one for expenses.

Timesheets
You can filter the timesheet entries displayed by start date, end date, projects and resources. Click the calendar icons to select a start and end date for the timesheet period you want to display. From the drop-down boxes, you can also filter by projects and/or by resources.
Note: Project and resource filtering only applies if your company has licensed DreamTeam, DreamFactory’s project management application for the AppExchange. If your company has not licensed DreamTeam, you can still log timesheets, but you cannot associate timesheet entries with specific DreamTeam projects, tasks, and resources. For example, you could log time worked but you wouldn’t be able to associate that time with a specific project unless your company has licensed DreamTeam.
If you select a particular timesheet entry, the details are displayed in the Selected Details panel.

Expenses
The Expenses tab follows the same layout as the Timesheets tab. You can filter expenses by start date, end date, projects and resources. Click the calendar icons to select a start and end date for the expense period you want to display. From the drop-down boxes, you can also filter by projects and/or by resources.
Note: Project and resource filtering only applies if your company has licensed DreamTeam, DreamFactory’s project management application for the AppExchange. If your company has not licensed DreamTeam, you can still log expenses, but you cannot associate expense entries with specific DreamTeam projects, tasks, and resources. For example, you could log travel expenses but you wouldn’t be able to associate these expenses with a specific project unless your company has licensed DreamTeam.
If you select a particular expenses entry, the details are displayed in the Selected Details panel.

Timesheet Editor Activities
You can use the Timesheet Editor to:
• Filter timesheets and expense entries
• Rearrange columns and sort timesheet and expense entries
• Add new timesheet and expense entries
• Edit existing timesheet and expense entries
• Delete existing timesheet and expense entries
• Submit timesheet and expense entries
• Unsubmit timesheet and expense entries
• Import and export timesheets and expenses
The following sections will walk you through the steps required to work with DreamTeam Timesheet Editor.
Filtering Timesheet and Expense Entries
You can filter the timesheets or expense entries that appear in main display panel by date range, project, and resource.
1. Select the Start date and End date by clicking the Calendar button.

2. From the drop-down list select a Project.

My Projects will show entries for DreamTeam Projects to which you are assigned tasks.
All Projects will show entries for all DreamTeam Projects.
Select Projects enables you to show entries for specific DreamTeam Projects. Select a Project and click the Add arrow. Click Save to save your changes.

3. From the drop-down list select a Resource.
All Timesheets will show entries logged by all Resources, Contacts, and Users for the selected DreamTeam Projects.
All Resources will show entries logged by all Resources for the selected DreamTeam Projects.
Select Resources enables you to show entries for specific Resources. Select a Resource and click the Add arrow. Click Save to save your changes.
Me will show only those entries logged by you.
Select Contact enables you to show entries for a specific Contact.
Select User enables you to show entries for a specific User.
Once you have selected your filter criteria, click on the Display button to view entries.
Rearranging Columns and Sorting Timesheet and Expense Entries
The Timesheet Editor allows you to rearrange column order to suit your individual needs. Simply drag and drop a column to the desired position.
You can also sort timesheet and expense entries into ascending or descending order by clicking a Column header e.g., Project, Billable, etc.
Adding Timesheet and Expense Entries
To add new entries:
1. Click the + button or click the Add Entry button in the Selected Details panel.

A new highlighted row appears in the main display panel.

The side Details Panel is also enabled, ready for you to enter details. Click Save when you are finished.
Note: The Project, Task, and Resource fields are not mandatory. You can log time and expenses not associated with projects, tasks, and resources.
Editing Timesheet and Expense Entries
You can only edit timesheets and expense entries that have not been submitted. To edit an entry, simply select the record from the main display panel and edit the details in the side Details Panel.
Deleting Timesheet and Expense Entries
You can delete and expense entries that have not been submitted. The Delete button is disabled for submitted entries.
To delete one or more entries:
1. Select the row or rows you want to delete in the main display pane by clicking on the checkboxes.
2. Click the – button.
3. A confirmation dialog box appears, asking you to confirm deletion. Click Yes to confirm.
Submitting Timesheet and Expense Entries
To submit timesheet and expense entries, select the entries you want to submit and click the Submit Timesheets or Submit Expenses button.
To submit one or more entries:
1. Select the row or rows you want to submit in the main display pane by clicking on the checkboxes.
2. Click Submit Timesheets or Submit Expenses button.
After a timesheet or expense entry is submitted, the Submitted column will display Yes for that particular entry in the Display panel. Submitted entries cannot be edited or deleted unless they are unsubmitted.

Unsubmitting Timesheet and Expense Entries
You can only unsubmit entries if you are a DreamTeam Project Manager or if the entries you’ve logged are not associated with any DreamTeam Projects. To unsubmit timesheet and expense entries, select the entries you want to unsubmit and click the Unsubmit Timesheets or Unsubmit Expenses button.
To unsubmit one or more entries:
1. Select the row or rows you want to unsubmit in the main display pane by clicking on the checkboxes.
2. Click Unsubmit Timesheets or Unsubmit Expenses button.
After a timesheet or expense entry is unsubmitted, the Submitted column will display No for that particular entry in the Display panel. Unsubmitted entries can be edited and submitted again or deleted.
Importing and Export Timesheets and Expenses
You can import timesheets and expenses that are in Comma Separated Value (.csv) format.
• Click the Import button to import timesheets or expenses from a .csv file on your computer.
• Click the Export button to export timesheets or expenses to a .csv file and save the file to your computer.
T&E Reports
T&E Reports are available if you have licensed DreamTeam, DreamFactory’s project management application for the AppExchange. T&E Reports are located in the Workstream Manager tab of DreamTeam.
Workstream Manager Tab

The T&E Report View is only available in the WorkStream Manager tab if you have installed the DreamTeam Time & Expenses package from the AppExchange. Your Salesforce administrator can install and license the DreamTeam Time & Expenses package by clicking on the “Get It Now” button on the DreamTeam Time & Expenses listing on the AppExchange.
The T&E Report View enables you to report on time and expenses across any set of date ranges, projects and resources and streamline invoicing with customizable billing criteria. The reports provide line item details as well as a roll-up of total time and expenses logged by Project and by Resource. You can filter T&E entries by start date, end date, projects, resources and types of entries (time only, expenses only, both time and expenses, billable, non-billable, submitted, etc.). Once you are satisfied with a report, you can save, print or export it as a PDF, HTML, or CSV file.
