DreamTeam Concepts

DreamTeam provides integrated applications for Project Management, Collaborative Calendaring, Document Management, and Team Communications including Activity Alerts and Threaded Discussions.

By adding these capabilities to the Salesforce.com implementation (vs. a stand-alone product) Team Project Management, Business Communication and Document Management become natural extensions to the Salesforce experience.

Note: The Single User version of DreamTeam is provided for free, or you can purchase a Professional or Enterprise license that provides additional functionality. You can verify your license status by clicking the DreamTeam logo in the upper-right corner of the Workstream Manager, Project Manager, Collaborative Calendar, or Document Manager. DreamTeam Tabs

Each of the three primary DreamTeam applications - Project Manager, Collaborative Calendar and Document Manager - is accessed through its own DreamTeam tab. Additionally, there is one tab - Workstream Manager - that lets you view, manage and report on collections of related projects.

Workstream Manager

Workstream Manager provides an executive dashboard view across projects and groups of related projects. From here, you can check project status at-a-glance or you can drill down to view and update project-related highlights, issues, risks and action items. Workstream Manager also lets you generate and share sophisticated project status reports.

Project Manager

Project Manager is designed to address the multiple layers of sophistication inherent in a broad user community. To accomplish this we provide robust visualization of project tasks via Gantt presentation for experienced Project Managers and/or Calendar presentation for less demanding project scenarios. Whether you are working on a project team to engineer product or a sales team to engineer a sale, DreamTeam projects will be in your comfort zone.

Collaborative Calendar

DreamTeam incorporates a group calendar to manage team events. In the context of Project Management it is much more than a calendar, but also a visualization and decision making tool, mapping any activity to the backdrop of a calendar view. For example, you can view all project tasks by day/week/month or similarly view all scheduled resources by calendar view. This offers a very straightforward model for resource allocation and capacity planning.

Document Manager

The DreamTeam Document Manager provides sophisticated and rich interactivity with Documents in the Salesforce.com repository. Using the familiar metaphor of an Outline control, on top of a virtual centralized Database (Salesforce.com), DreamTeam Document Manager makes robust Document Management easier then managing files on your desktop. Moreover, the productivity increases over "email and hope" approaches to document creation are dramatic.

Team Communication

DreamTeam brings rich Groupware capabilities to salesforce.com in the form of Notification and Threaded Discussions. These features let you communicate, share ideas, and stay in touch with team members throughout and across projects.

Notification

Throughout all DreamTeam applications, DreamTeam Notification allows you to send email notifications and/or create salesforce.com tasks. Notify team members of upcoming events, warn your team that a task is behind schedule - DreamTeam makes it easy for team members to stay in touch at all times!

Threaded Discussions

To facilitate team communications, DreamTeam incorporates pervasive Threaded Discussions. Any entity - a calender item, a project task or a document - can have an associated Discussion Thread, stored in your Salesforce.com database.
